Union of One
Yellowstone National Park, WY
One of the most dramatic waterfalls anywhere in North America is Yellowstone's Union Falls. Its 265 ft. plunge makes it the second largest fall in the park. Accessible only by remote backcountry hiking, the falls are captured here during dramatic daytime storm light. It was raining off and on during our visit, further accentuating the already spectacular colors of the foliage. Union Falls get its name for the merging of three watersheds as shown here.
