The Revolving Door
Zion National Park, Utah
This is a picture of a quiet, peaceful late afternoon scene during a trip in the Narrows. During the summer, the Virgin River turns a pristine aquamarine color which accentuates the beauty of this spectacular place. Here I was attracted the flowing rapids and how they mimicked the contours of the walls in symmetry. In the background, the towering cliffs converge and form a checkered pattern vanishing point.
