The Fallen
The Palouse, Washington
A weathered landscape of wood and debris decorate an otherwise barren field of grain near the western border of the Palouse on a lonely summer afternoon. I've always been captivated by the character and charm of desolate, run down, barns. On this particular occasion, I wa dealing with extreme temperatures (over 105 degrees), dry and brittle grass scratching me, and angry birds nested in the barn. Photo © copyright by Michael Greene.
