Summer's Watchman

Zion National Park, UT

This is an iconic view of the Watchman from the bridge across the Virgin River connecting Zion Canyon to the eastern section of the park. The Virgin River is a tributary of the Colorado River. The Watchman is arguably the most recognizable rock formation in the park and looms large above the town of Springdale, Utah. This image was captured in the middle of the summer.
